The Ministry of Health reports 2,039 new infections and 380 patients hospitalized, according to the latest weekly balance sheet

The coronavirus has caused others 19 dead in the Valencian Community since the last data update, a week ago. These are 12 women aged between 56 and 96 and 7 men aged between 76 and 96, as specified by the Ministry of Health this Friday.
Thus, the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 10,206: 1,220 in the province of Castellón, 3,885 in Alicante and 5,101 in Valencia.
The Valencian Community also recorded 2,039 new coronavirus infections -21 more than the previous week- in addition to the aforementioned death toll, with two more deaths than the previous report.
Of the new cases, by age, 1,150 concern people over the age of 60 and Valencian hospitals are currently 380 people hospitalized -49 more than a week ago-, 15 of them in intensive care.
