To date, two people are receiving treatment for coronavirus infection in the hospital. One patient is in a serious condition, the other is in an average condition. Currently, five patients are in home quarantine under the supervision of medical professionals.
– For the same period last year, 4,257 patients with coronavirus infection were registered in the region. This figure has decreased by 56 times compared to this year. It can be noted that the situation in the region is improving. Residents are sharply mastering ways to prevent Covid and receive timely treatment. Thanks to this, today, according to the matrix for assessing the epidemiological situation in the regions of Kazakhstan, the Mangistau region is in the green zone, Berdibek Saraltayev said.
In addition, Berdibek Saraltaev noted that 1,170 people were covered by vaccination (fizer) in the region at the beginning of 2023. Today, the region received 12,000 doses of vaccine for revaccination against coronavirus.
– According to the statistics of 2021 and 2023, 116,950 people were revaccinated in the Mangistau region, 14,562 patients were revaccinated. Including pregnant women, civil servants, persons with disabilities and persons over 50, said Berdibek Saraltayev.
