New cases of Covid in Galicia drop below 2,000, but positivity increases
The infections of coronavirus in Galicia are less than 2,000, and are located in 1.862 – 138 less than the previous day – and they are already 19,441 active cases total. It also increases the positivity rate, which goes up to 12,44%. On the other hand, the number of admitted patients drops to 350.
Despite the data, the Galician community continues to ascent, in terms of active cases, for the fourth consecutive day. This is because there is more new infections (1,862) than discharges (978). In one week, Galicia has recorded 2,500 more cases.
In this way, and according to the report published by the Ministry of Health, the iCumulative incidence at 14 days in Galicia rises to 782.56 cases per 100,000 inhabitantswhile at the national level it drops to 429.71.
