The incidence of COVID decreases in Cantabria although hospitalizations increase

Cantabria has registered 1,890 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, 238 less than the previous day, which lower cumulative incidence to 14 days from 4,337 to 4,280 cases, although admissions of patients in hospitals increase, with 15% of occupied beds.

The community has also registered the death of two women, aged 101 and 90 who were vaccinated.

The hospital situation worsens compared to the previous balance, with six more admitted, up to 240 cases, of which there are 27 in intensive care, two less.

Thus, hospitals are at 15 percent of their capacity and intensive care, at 19.1%.

According to data from the Cantabrian Health Service, the seven-day cumulative incidence is 2,144 after dropping 43 points, while the positivity of the tests stands at 45.1 percent, two tenths less. (Eph)
