Morant assures that Spain is “prepared” to withdraw the mandatory nature of the mask outdoors
The Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant, has assured that Spain is “prepared” to withdraw the mandatory use of the mask in open spaces, a measure that, he has defended, is taken to “normalize coexistence” with COVID-19. This was stated by Morant in statements to the media upon his arrival at the 4th Congress of the PSPV in the province of Valencia, which is being held this Sunday in Valencia, where he advocated for “Evolve as the pandemic evolves.”

The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, announced this past Friday that next Tuesday the Government will eliminate the mandatory use of masks outdoors after this matter is debated on Monday within the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System (CISNS). The head of Health has indicated that the idea is that it be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on Wednesday and that can be effective on Thursday.
