Active cases drop by more than 2,000 in Galicia during the bridge on July 25
Galicia concludes the bridge on July 25 with 5,217 active cases of COVID-19, which they represent 2,226 less than those recorded on Friday (day of the last data update). Thus, between that day and Monday, the Galician Health Service (Sergas) detected only 660 infections, while those hospitalized rose slightly up to 536, six more.
What has not changed after the long weekend has been the list of deceased notified by Sergas, which it remains at 3,795 since the start of the pandemic. Of course, it may happen that in the next few days the deaths corresponding to the bridge will be communicated.
According to updated data on the website of the Ministry of Health until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, active cases have dropped markedly up to 5,217, which means the lowest number in almost eight monthssince November 28, 2021. A week ago, on Tuesday, July 19, there were 8,981.
The progressive decline registered during the bridge has followed widespread in the seven health areas. Thus, it only exceeds a thousand COVID patients that of A Coruña-Cee, with 1,110 (-407), and the following from Ourense-Verín-O Barco de Valdeorras, con 819 (-305); La de Santiago-Barbanza, con 813 (-368); and that of Vigo, with another 813 (-311).
