Cantabria adds 71 positive cases for coronavirus and reports five deaths
In recent days, Cantabria has registered five deaths from COVID-19. This has been recorded in the last balance of the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS), which has also notified 71 infections among people over 60 years old —the only age group for which Health offers data regarding transmission—, which are 47 more than the day before.
On the other hand, at the close of Monday there were 45 hospitalized for coronaviruseight less than on Sunday, with which hospital occupancy has dropped six tenths, to 2.9%, and remains at low risk. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) continues attending to four criticsso that occupancy remains at 2.9%, in controlled risk.
The latest report states that the incidence among the elderly continues its continuous decline and stands at 566 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 14 days, 58 less than the previous day; and in 234 cases to seven days, two less, so that the first remains at a medium risk level and the second at low risk.
