Cantabria once again exceeds 200 cases of COVID, with an incidence above 800
Cantabria has added this Monday 224 cases of COVID-19 in people over 60 years of agea figure that had not been reached since mid-May, while the incidence in this age group -the only one for which Health offers data- has exceeded 800 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 dayswhich has not been registered since the end of May.
Thus, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, corresponding to the end of June 27, they have detected 156 more positive cases than on Sundayalthough fewer tests are carried out on weekends.
To this day, there 42 hospitalized for COVID-19, one less than Sunday. Though bed occupancy has not changed from 2.8%the seven-day admission rate has grown 1.7 points, to 19, and remains the only hospital indicator at medium risk.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) continues to care for five patientsso that occupancy remains at 3.5%, although the rate of admissions to seven days has fallen two tenths, to 0.7.
