Spain exceeds 25 million people with booster doses
The autonomous communities have administered until this Friday a total of 94,734,967 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen, 81,739 of them in the last week. This represents 97.9 percent of those delivered in Spain, amounting to 96,807,574 units.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, they have already been administered 25,039,923 third doses: 11,186,579 from Pfizer and 13,853,349 from Moderna. This assumes that the 52.8 percent from spanish population have already received your booster dose. While with a complete schedule, the population amounts to 40,496,678.
Additionally, a total of 2,084,854 children from 5 to 11 years old have already received their first dose and 1,667,671 also the secondwhich means the 54.6 percent with one dose and the 43,7 with the full agenda, after the start of vaccination on Wednesday, December 15.
Of those over 12 years of age, a total of 39,073,379 people have already received the complete program, 7,698 more than last week. This supposes the 92.6 percent of those over 12 years of age. On the other hand, a total of 39.229.110 personas have received at least a dosethe 93 percent3,543 more than the previous Friday.
