Covid hotels are opening in the Czech Republic. In some, the night costs two thousand crowns

A four-star hotel, food delivered to the door, can still look like a quarantine. The hotel makes sure that the staff does not meet guests, so the reception is set up online.

Everyone goes to the room alone, the key is inside. As soon as the guest closes the door behind him, he no longer leaves the room. Any delivery is handled through the reception.

Guests can also enjoy room cleaning, as the hotel does not provide security for guests during their stay. But people will pay for quarantine in luxury. One thousand crowns per night without food, 1200 per night with breakfast.

“We are opening a hotel for positively tested people. We have 55 rooms and all of them are available to those infected. So far, 15 of them are temporarily living here,” said the owner of the hotel, Jaroslav Svoboda.

For an additional fee, people can have it washed. They put the laundry in a special bag, put it behind the door and pick up the laundry clean in a few hours.

The guests seem to have everything they need. But as it turned out, sometimes that’s not enough and people are just bored between the four walls. The hotel therefore also offers them various things to have fun. “We also offer, for example, a playstation or access to movies, audiobooks and CDs,” adds Svoboda.

After isolation, the room is quarantined for one day, where it is disinfected.
