The hospital occupancy for Covid-19 patients in Nuevo León reached 83 percent today, when the state Health Secretariat reported 1,382 hospitalized patients, 68 more than yesterday.
Manuel de la O Cavazos, head of Health in the entity said that hospitals are beginning to reach their limits, so he asked the directors of these to make the maximum effort to expand the number of beds.
The official also announced 1,308 new daily infections of Covid, continuing with its third day on the rise. With this figure, the cumulative total of positive cases is 207 thousand 235.
Regarding deaths, this indicator showed one of the highest data reported in the last five months; 66 percent of them were healthy people who did not have any comorbidity such as diabetes, obesity or hypertension, among others.
In total, deaths from Covid reached 11,500.
