The Social Democratic leader says that the Government under orders from the General Directorate of Health is not knowing how to respond effectively to the pandemic in the region of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley.
Rui Rio regarding the complaints of the Portuguese Medical Association, referring that the Government stopped listening to them, declined to comment directly. But the president of the PSD reinforces the idea of delay in applying the measures.
Despite being questioned by journalists this afternoon in Coimbra, Rui Rio did not advance what he would do differently, if it were Government.
However, he added that the General Directorate of Health needs to be more dynamic and act more quickly.
