Silvio Berlusconi could come out of quarantine today.
The leader of Forza Italia resulted yesterday negative to a swab, and today I will perform a second. If the outcome is still negative, the former premier will be considered definitively cured of Covid, which hit him in early September.
In this case, moreover, Berlusconi will be able to participate this evening at the reception of wedding of his son Luigi and girlfriend Federica Fumagalli, in Macherio. Impossible for the founder of Forza Italia to participate in the ceremony, which will take place today, in a church in Milan, in a strictly private form.
Berlusconi, 84, had turned out positive for coronavirus last September 2nd. The worsening of his health condition – and in particular, the onset of one bilateral pneumonia – had forced him to be admitted to the San Raffaele hospital. After resigning, on September 14, the founder of Mediaset had remained in home isolation, as he was still positive for Sars-CoV-2: and thus, in quarantine, he had spent, on September 29, his birthday, which had described it as my worst.
Come told by his doctor, Alberto Zangrillo, Berlusconi, during his hospitalization, had appeared very tried, also because one of the really negative characteristics of Covid-19: it forces you to loneliness and to face the disease alone.
The Forza Italia leader had spoken of Covid as well as of the most dangerous test of my life, and in an interview with Courier service he had explained that he had been in anguish for children and grandchildren.
Luigi himself – the last son – had tested positive for Covid, as well as Barbara e Marina.
Barbara Berlusconi had commented on the news of his positivity – and those that identified it as one of the possible causes of his father’s illness – with an interview with Courier service, in which he explained that he was not an actress: against me [ stato messo in atto] an inhumane treatment.
Luigi Berlusconi, 32, had never commented on news related to her health. Extremely reserved, at the head of the family fund – the Italian Holding Quattordicesima – which holds his, Barbara and Eleonora’s assets. The news of the wedding with Federica Fumagalli – graduated from Bocconi University in Milan, a career in communication and event organization – only emerged later publications on the Praetorian Register of the Municipality of Milan, on 1 August last.
