This is one of the lessons of Covid: “One Health”, one health. Clearly, animal and human health, same struggle. If we want to anticipate crises and no longer limit ourselves to managing them, taking care of the sick, we must take the environment into account. Monitoring animals means monitoring the emergence of viruses that could be transmitted to humans. Veterinarians and infectious disease specialists must work side by side. How ?
