Covid-19 continues to be fired in Castilla y León. Despite the fact that a few days ago the Minister of Health, Verónica Casado, commented that the curve was starting to flatten out and the data was stabilizing, thus seeing the first effects of the curfew, this Saturday the community has registered a new record of new cases, 2,237, and 39 deaths -two in residences-, thus surpassing the data of Friday.
So, the province of Valladolid is the one with the most new cases, with 795, more than a third (35%) of the total data. Some data that have not affected the basic health area of Peñafiel, which has reduced active cases to 63, since in the middle of last week the active cases had dropped slightly to 69. However, we will have to wait to see the evolution of the next few days to be able to confirm if these data show this improvement.
Some data that are produced hours after they were decreed new restrictive measures, with the closure of hotels, sports centers and large shopping centers, and with the proximity of the end of the perimeter closure of the community (next November 9 at 2:00 p.m.), which remains to be seen if it will be expanded or not. While, the curfew seems to be extended.
