ROME (ITALPRESS) – In the week from 12 to 18 October we recorded 33,844 new positive cases with a variation of -18.7% compared to the previous week (41,626), 197 deaths with a variation of +22.4% compared to the previous week ( 161). The swabs were 245,458 with a variation of -9.1% compared to the previous week (270,011). The positivity rate is 13.8% with a variation of -1.6% compared to the previous week (15.4%). Moving on to the medical area, the employment rate is 5.7% (3,551 hospitalized), compared to 5.8% as of 11/10/2023. The ICU occupancy rate is 1.3% (119 hospitalized), compared to 1.3% as of 10/11/2023.
