Covid: a cluster at Emile Roux hospital

A patient without symptoms from the medicine department tested positive for Covid according to information from Progress that the hospital management confirmed to us this Monday morning. In the process, seven other patients were diagnosed, or a third of the service.
Among these patients, only one is vaccinated, an immunocompromised person.

Hospital management is concerned that fewer and fewer people are wearing masks and even shaking hands.

The incidence rate in Haute-Loire rose by 36% over the week but it remains below the alert threshold of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Over the whole of France, the effective reproduction rate increased by 7% in seven days.

But 21 new departments are falling below the alert threshold. They can therefore drop the mask at primary school this Monday, like the 47 already concerned, including Haute-Loire.
