Covid-19. Where will they vaccinate stragglers in CDMX?

Starting this Monday, health centers will be enabled for the application of the first, second, reinforcement and fourth dose against Covid-19whose biological available will be AstraZenecathis with the aim of intensifying the vaccination plan for laggards.

Therefore, 187 Health Units will be available: 117 SEDESA Health Centers, 45 ISSSTE Family Medicine Units and 25 IMSS Family Medical Units (UMF), as well as four Macro Headquarters: Sala de Armas, CENCIS Marina, Voca 7 of the IPN and Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center, the latter starting this Tuesday.

From this April 18th The health centers will be enabled, but the Macro Headquarters of the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center, Cencis Marina, Sala de Armas and Voca 7 will operate from Tuesday April 19 to Saturday April 23 and later from Monday April 25 to Saturday April 30.

It is worth mentioning that in Cencis Marina the first and second dose will also be applied to young people between 15 and 17 years old or who turn 15 this year and the first and second dose will be applied to young people aged 12, 13 and 14 with comorbidities

No requirements, vaccination of stragglers

The requirements to go to the 187 Health Units are to be 18 years old. In addition, for both the Health Units and the Four Macro Headquarters, it is not required to be a resident of Mexico City or a beneficiary of IMSS, ISSSTE or SEDESA.

While it is not necessary to go by appointment; however, it is recommended to go with your Vaccination Record which can be downloaded at mivacuna.salud.gob.mx to expedite the process and it will be trusted to give a second or booster dose when the person indicates that four months have elapsed or are about to be fulfilled since their last dose.

The Ministry of Health of Mexico City recommended that older adults with comorbidities – who have already had four months since the booster dose was applied – come to apply a fourth booster dose in any of the 187 Health Units.
