Covid-19. Wearing a mask is again compulsory outdoors in Vienne and Charente-Maritime

Here is the list of municipalities in Vienne and Charente-Maritime where the wearing of a mask outdoors is again requested.

From this Wednesday, the prefect of Charente-Maritime announced new measures to limit interaction situations as much as possible and reminds us to scrupulously respect barrier gestures. Thus, in addition to the measures already put in place for wearing a mask indoors (public places, markets, public transport, schools, etc.), the wearing of a mask is required, outdoors, in 72 municipalities of Charente-Maritime (see list below).

In addition, specific measures for this end of the year have also been put in place:

Prohibition of alcohol consumption on public roads throughout the department, from Friday December 31, 2021 at 6 p.m., until Monday January 03, 2022 included under the conditions defined by my decree of December 27, 2021.

Prohibition of the purchase and sale of flammable or explosive products as well as fireworks and pyrotechnic articles from December 20, 2021 at 8 p.m. to January 3, 2022 at midnight, under the conditions defined by my decree of December 17, 2021.

Closing of drinking establishments at 2 a.m. on January 1, 2022.

Prohibition of dance activities during festive events in all establishments open to the public from Friday December 31, 2021 at 12 p.m. to Monday January 3, 2022 at 8 a.m.

Obligation to wear a mask extended from Thursday December 30, 2021 until Wednesday January 19, 2022 inclusive, for anyone aged eleven and over:

The prefect of Vienne, Chantal Castelnot, indicates that the virus is actively circulating throughout the territory for all age groups (396.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants on 30/12/2021). Thus, the obligation to wear a mask outside in the department is requested from this Thursday, December 31, until February 7, 2022 inclusive.

Wearing a mask is compulsory in all urbanized areas of municipalities with more than 2,000 inhabitants, the list of which is given below:
