Due to the detection of a case of Covid-19, one group has undergone home quarantine at this educational institution.
The center explains that it has been working with this educational institution since October 28.
It has already been reported that on Tuesday a total of 24 Riga educational institutions have quarantined due to Covid-19 for a person, class, group of people or staff, informed Riga City Council Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
The department has information that from the beginning of the school year until Tuesday, Covid-19 has been tested positive by 114 students and 90 staff members, including 69 teachers and 21 technicians.
From the beginning of the school year until Tuesday, a total of 44 educational institutions – 29 schools and 15 kindergartens – were affected by Covid-19. Home quarantine has ended in 15 schools and five pre-schools.
