Araceli, the first vaccinated in Spain, will give a speech today in tribute to health workers and victims of COVID
In the act that will take place this Thursday at the Royal Palace, a heartfelt tribute will be paid to the health workers who died from COVID, as well as their work, and the hope that vaccination supposes will be put in the spotlight.
Regarding this last point, after a minute of silence and a wreath in front of the cauldron that will be installed in the Patio de la Armería del Palacio Real, a second part of the ceremony will begin where he will attend and take the floor. Araceli Hidalgo placeholder image, the 97-year-old woman who on December 27 became the first person to be vaccinated in Spain and who will attend with her children, her granddaughter and her great-granddaughter.
The event, which will conclude with the king’s words, will be conducted by journalist Fernando Ónega and will include the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra and with the Orfeón Pamplonés.
