But as the Daily reports, There have been more than 1,000 confirmed cases of the new virus, mostly in southern England. The exact location has not been revealed.

Corona mutation called VUI – 202012/01 first discovered in September in Kent UK 2020.

Professor Nick Loman, from the Institute of Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham, is a member of the UK’s Covid-19 Genomics UK Consortium which is studying the mutation.

He said: “There are actually 17 changes that will affect the structure of the protein in some way that differentiates this variant from a common ancestral type from other variants in circulation, which are numerous.

“This is surprising. There is a very long branch going back to the same ancestors, and that’s a very interesting issue why that is.”

Britain is the first country to initiate COVID-19 vaccination on its citizens. The vaccination process is not just injecting directly into the body, but there are many long processes that must be passed first.
