ACAPULCO, Gro., August 23, 2023.- Until August 25, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Guerrero will continue with the application of the COVID-19 vaccine for people over 18 years of age, from the first and second dose and first and second reinforcement.
According to a bulletin, in Acapulco, the application is kept in the Family Medicine Units (UMF) No. 2, 26 and 28; in Iguala, at the Zone General Hospital with Family Medicine Unit (HGZ/MF) No. 4; and in Chilpancingo, in the General Hospital of the subzone with Family Medicine (HGSZ/MF) No. 3.
The coordinator in Public Health Nursing, Ma. Del Carmen Bello Flores, recalled the importance that, when attending, the population must comply with prevention measures against infections such as: proper use of face masks, hand washing or disinfection and healthy distance .
He recommended that the population approach the traveling modules that the IMSS installed for this application, whether or not they are beneficiaries, so that they can take advantage of the biological and be protected.
