COVID-19 vaccination mandates: What entities have implemented them?

This note was translated into Spanish and edited for clarity from a English Version.

Businesses with 100 or more employees will be required to require weekly vaccinations or testing of their workers under a new rule announced by President Joe Biden on Sept. 9.

But many Nevada businesses and public institutions have already implemented their own vaccine mandates for employees, and are preparing more as the federal government finalizes the outline of the new rule and fine-tunes its details. Some have gone further by demanding vaccinations not only for workers, but as a condition of entry for the public; even at conventions, sporting events and concerts.

At the same time, some rural governments have passed resolutions banning vaccine mandates to varying degrees.
