COVID-19 Vaccination Guidelines: Priority Groups and Locations

Who is best vaccinated?

People over 65, pregnant women, people who are vulnerable due to an underlying illness, suffer from obesity, have a weakened immune system or work in healthcare are recommended to get vaccinated.

The intention is that people from these groups will first receive a vaccine. That’s about two million people.

Where can I get vaccinated?

For a shot against corona, you can make an appointment at a nearby pharmacy or with your doctor. You can take a look at the website of your GP practice or at pharmacy.be to make an appointment.

Doctors’ association Domus Medica does ask that you wait for communication from your doctor or pharmacy.

Residents and employees of residential care centers and healthcare institutions will be able to receive their vaccine internally. Some cities (such as Antwerp) organize a central vaccination point.
