This Monday, June 5, the vaccination operation against Covid-19 begins, for girls and boys from 5 to 11 years of age, to whom the Pfizer vaccine will be applied in the different medical units of the entity, reported the Ministry of Well-being.
In total, 17,520 doses of the Pfizer Pediatric vaccine will be applied, distributed in 224 Health Units throughout the state.
The state coordinator of vaccination, Hugo Lechuga Barrera, reported that it seeks to immunize girls and boys who turned 5 years old and were not previously immunized because they did not meet the age requirement.
The exact number of vaccines available amounts to 17,520 doses, and will be applied in clinics of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, as well as the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste).
Also in those of IMSS-Bienestar, Sedena and Secretary of Health of the State Government, they will be available as of this Monday, June 5.
It should be noted that the operation was arranged for the entire entity in the different medical units of said health institutions. It was reported that in the case of ISSSTE, this time it will only be applied in the clinics of Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua capital.
It was also reported that currently, 7,335 doses of this vaccine have been applied, of which 4,634 were in the past vaccination days in Juárez.
Of the Abdala vaccine, for people over 18 years of age, 36,971 doses have been applied, and of these, 4,114 are first doses, 31,227 are booster doses, and 1,630 are second doses.
This vaccine continues in the same health centers where the Pfizer will be applied. Pediatric and will continue there until the strategy changes at the central level.
Finally, the population that requires reinforcement against Covid-19, or that does not have any dose of said scheme, was invited to go to their corresponding health unit.
