Covid-19 Update, Positive Confirmation Cases in Nunukan Add 4 Patients, 1 Dies

TRIBUNKALTIM.CO, NUNUKAN – Confirmation case Covid-19 in the district Nunukan, North Kalimantan, increased by 4 patients, 1 died.

According to the spokesperson (spokesperson) for the acceleration of handling Covid-19 districts Nunukan, Aris Suyono, out of 5 cases, 4 of them were local transmission. Meanwhile, 1 more case is imported transmission.

The patient’s identity is R (L, 52), K (L, 42), AA (L, 27). The patient was in close contact with a positive rapid antigen test.

The patient’s initials RRF (L, 23), is a suspect with a positive rapid antigen examination.

Meanwhile, the initial patient T (L, 62), is a traveler with a positive TCM examination.

“Today, 5 more confirmed cases have been confirmed and 1 patient died. Of the 5 cases, 4 of them are local transmissions. Meanwhile, 1 more case is imported,” he said. Aris Suyono to TribunKaltara.com, Monday (21/06/2021), afternoon.

According to Aris, the patient who died had the initials T (L, 62), a resident of Aji Kuning Village, Central Sebatik.

It is known that the patient had comorbid type 2 diabetes mellitus, hyperglycemia and acute renal failure.

The patient was buried last night at the Subdistrict Integrated Cemetery Nunukan South.

“Patients are admitted and treated at the hospital Nunukan (suspect treatment) since last June 19. The swab collection for the TCM examination was carried out on June 20, yesterday. With confirmation result Covid-19. The patient died of respiratory failure in the suspected ICU,” he said.
