Two new deaths and 94 new cases in two days, this is the sad report made public this Wednesday by the ARS in its latest situation update.
Since the last situation update on August 31, Guadeloupe has recorded two additional deaths, bringing the number of deaths linked to covid-19 to 20 since the start of the epidemic. These are two patients hospitalized at the CHU, two men aged 79 and 73. There are currently seven confirmed covid patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Pointois hospital where the white plan has been launched since August 25.
In two days, our archipelago also counted 94 new cases confirmed by PCR test, bringing to 1,363 the number of cumulative confirmed cases.
A total of 31,762 PCR tests have been performed to date.
