Covid-19. The number of cases in Europe continues to rise and health systems are already threatening to break

The risk is high and so is the threat. Ukraine’s healthcare system may soon collapse because of the substantial increase in new cases of Covid-19. Ukraine has rescued 5,397 more cases in the past 24 hours, a record since the pandemic began.

Another 93 people also died.

“The health care system will not endure if we, without exception, do not start adhering to the rules,” said the Ukrainian Minister of Health this morning.

Every day, many countries have announced increases in new cases to record values since the beginning of the pandemic. Just this morning, for example, Slovakia, with another 1037 new cases. There have never been so many cases in such a short time. The situation even led to an appeal by the Prime Minister on Facebook. “Let us all be extra careful, please.”

The Executive of Slovakia approved the State of Emergency on 1 October.

The same is true in the Czech Republic, which came to be given as an example, at the beginning of the pandemic, a country controlled the virus. In the last 24 hours, 5335 new cases were registered. Never before had such a high value in such a short time.

The situation has already been addressed by the German Minister of Health, who this morning said that the increase in cases in Europe represents a risk for the country.

Germany itself has also experienced an increase in new cases. In the last 24 hours there have been over 4,058.

The body responsible for these data said, given this reality, that it is possible that the country will soon overcome the 10,000 daily cases barrier.

Even so, the German Minister of Health guarantees that “they will not reach the situation experienced in March or April”. And he added that the increase in cases occurs in social gatherings, weddings and religious meetings. There have not been so many cases in stores, public transport and even schools and kindergartens.
