Portugal registered 4656 new cases of Covid-19 in the epidemiological bulletin on Friday, plus 40 deaths and 1747 recovered.

The North continues to be the region with the greatest daily increase (2831 new cases), followed by Lisbon and the Tagus Valley (1357), the central region (334), Alentejo (65 and Algarve (57). Madeira recorded more four new cases and the Azores eight.

Of the total deaths, 19 were recorded in the north of the country, 13 in the region of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, three in the central region and the other three in the Alentejo.
