Covid-19: The Ministry of Health denies a possible treatment protocol (self-medication) in case of feeling a symptom of the disease

This Thursday, February 18, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene denied a possible treatment protocol (self-medication), in the event of symptoms of Covid-19 being felt.

Denial of the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, following the publication on social networks, of a possible treatment protocol (self-medication) in the event of experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

According to a post relayed on several social platforms, from the pen of a certain “Dr KASSY Marius”, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, would have communicated a treatment protocol in case of felt symptoms of COVID- 19, thus inviting populations to self-medicate.

The Ministry in charge of health takes issue with this allegation. No treatment is recommended other than those prescribed by infectious disease specialists at covid-19 care centers.

We recall that the virus is actively circulating in our country and recommend that the entire population strictly comply with barrier measures:

-the wearing of masks in public places and public transport.

-social distancing (at least 1m).

– regular hand washing

Fighting COVID-19 is an individual and collective responsibility.
