In June 2021, the French group Indochine was to start his “Central Tour” and hold concerts in several major stadiums in France, including Orange Velodrome from Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône).
Due to the health context linked to Covid-19, the group announced the sad news on social networks, Tuesday April 6, 2021: the tour will be postponed until 2022.
400,000 tickets had been purchased
The musicians were however optimistic at the beginning of the year, and a final decision had to be taken this April. But the evolution of the health crisis and the uncertainties that weigh for the coming months ended up deciding in favor of a postponement.
Near 400,000 people had already booked their ticket. It will still be valid in 2022, assures the group on his official Facebook page, without having to take any steps.
For those who will not be able to be there in 2022, the reimbursement of tickets is made possible from Wednesday April 7, 2021 and until August 31, via the sales platforms.
Indochina will therefore be celebrating … its 41 years with its audience
The group is therefore not going to celebrate its 40, but its 41 years with its audience in 2022, without hiding the disappointment of postponing “the biggest musical event of recent times …”.
On Facebook, Indochine describes:
In order to welcome you as well as possible, so that you can also organize yourself in the logistics of your respective schedules, we cannot make you wait any longer, the uncertainties of the authorities are too great. We have worked so that the new dates are as close as possible to the initial dates.
See you in 2022 for a concert in Marseille, but also: at Groupama Stadium from Lyon, at Stade de France at Paris, at Matmut Atlantic from Bordeaux and at the stadium Pierre Mauroy from Little.
