Is the Covid unit still active?
Yes, she remains armed. We currently have seven Covid cases in conventional hospitalization as well as six people in intensive care in eight places. There is a certain stagnation in the number of patients. The problem for us is above all the constraint on the duration of the care, often long, especially in intensive care.
What about nursing homes?
The results are rather positive. There are still some residual cases but overall, it remains encouraging.
Do you fear an upsurge in contamination with the arrival of the holidays?
I don’t dare say too much anymore. We have seen such different scenarios in the past. Sometimes we expected big increases and then declines and the opposite happened. The only thing I can say is that our caregivers are starting to get very tired. For the moment, we are coping because we manage to adapt and lighten certain services such as conventional surgery, but it still disrupts our traditional organization.
Can the closure of ski resorts limit the number of future treatments?
The second homes are full, even if there is no skiing or other sports in nature. We therefore remain in expectation. We do not know how things will develop in relation to this frequentation in the resort.
