According to the data available on Géodes, the cartographic observatory of Public Health France, for this January 1, 126 people with Covid-19 are still hospitalized in health establishments in Haute-Loire. It’s two less than the day before. Note that in the past 24 hours, two new patients had to be admitted.
As for the intensive care unit, two patients are still being monitored by health personnel.
No new death recorded
In total, 152 people have lost their lives in hospitals in Haute-Loire since March. However, no additional deaths were recorded.
Patients have seen their state of health improve enough to continue their convalescence at home. Thus, four people were able to leave the hospitals of the department, or 687 since the start of the pandemic.
In terms of the incidence rate, it seems, for the last days of the year, stable, around 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In addition, Haute-Loire stands out from eastern France, more affected by the health crisis and some departments of which are placed under a curfew starting earlier.
