Covid-19: Santa Cruz government opens a new vaccination post in Mall Mía Plaza

The Santa Cruz Government, through the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), and in coordination with the private sector and the Make a Difference Foundation, installed the new immunization point against Covid-19 in the Mall Mía Plaza.

Jorge Quiroz, coordinator of Urban Health Networks of the Government, reported that said vaccination point has a capacity of 500 people per day, but, in relation to demand, it may grow.

Attention to the population at this vaccination post will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“We are making the necessary strategies with a common goal that is concern for citizens and even more so in this fourth outbreak of the virus, facilitate scenarios so that the entire population can go without exception to start their vaccination or if it were the case to specify the vaccination scheme against Covid-19, “he said.

For his part, José Pérez, proprietary partner of the Mía Plaza Mall, underlined the support of said center to the Government, in order to achieve the immunization of the population. “We are giving our facilities, providing everything that they have asked us after the agreement with all the partners. We believe that we are very well located so that people can go for vaccination for two important points, first by safeguarding the health of the population and second by the economy“, he remarked.

Likewise, Guillermo Melgar, representative of the Make a Difference Foundation, urged the population to attend to receive their dose against the virus. “The motto is ‘For a future without restriction, come get vaccinated, we are waiting for you at the Mall Mía Plaza,'” he said.
