Covid-19 Positive Patient Killed, Skip from 12th Floor Hospital Page all

FIELD, KOMPAS.com – A woman died after jumping from the 12th floor at Royal Prima Hospital on Jalan Ayahanda, Kelurahan Sei Putih Tengah, Kecamatan Field Separated on Wednesday (5/8/2020) afternoon.

Victim is Covid-19 positive patients.

Medan Kasatreskrim Polrestabes, Kompol Martuasah Tobing said that when confirmed by telephone.

“A positive patient from Covid-19 jumped at Royal Prima Hospital. A woman,” he said by telephone to Kompas.com on Wednesday.

He explained, the victim initials MAH (39), at around 12:12 WIB, the victim was found by witnesses to fall from the top floor and lying on the 6th floor, near a window.

Isolation patient

At that time, the witness immediately reported to the security forces and then to the Medan Baru Police Station.

“Because the victim’s room is a Covid-19 Isolation Room Member of the Satrekrim Polrestabes Identity Medan at the risk of using a complete PPE to identify the victim and if the crime scene is assisted by the Hospital,” he said.

Monitoring in the field, a number of plainclothes policemen were around the hospital entrance on the side.

At 2:30 pm, 1 unit of Medan Inafis Polrestabes arrived at the parking lot and then a police officer wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) entered the hospital.

Spokesperson for the Task Force for the North Sumatra Covid-19 Handling Acceleration, dr. Aris Yudhariansyah also confirmed it.

Middle-aged woman, 11 days treated

He said, the victim was a middle-aged woman, aged between 30-40 years and jumped from her room on the 12th floor.

The victim was a positive patient of Covid-19 who had been treated for 11 days at the hospital.

He explained, the patient was treated in a room that had a window. From the window the victim jumped.

“Yes, he is positive that Covid-19 has been treated there for 11 days,” he said.

When asked if the victim had severe symptoms, Aris suspected not.

“I don’t think so. If it’s heavy, it means he is recovered. What kind of sick person can jump open the window and jump,” he said.
