SERAMBINEWS.COM, BANDA ACEH – One more positive patient of Covid-19 Aceh who was treated at the Regional General Hospital Dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUZA) Banda Aceh reportedly died Saturday (7/18/2020) at around 17:30 WIB.
According to the Aceh Government Covid-19 Task Force Spokesperson, Saifullah Abdulgani or familiarly called SAG, patients were initially taken to the RSUZA around 14.30 WIB and immediately handled according to health protocols because they showed symptoms of being exposed to the virus.
According to SAG, Case 146 Covid-19 Aceh, a woman (73), a resident of Aceh Besar.
He was taken to RSUZA around 14.30 and was only treated for about two hours by the medical team.
According to SAG, when the patient reportedly died, the family objected to the body being fardu kifayah according to the Health protocol.
The family still chooses to take the body home and consult with the hospital.
“The Covid-19 RSUZA Task Force Team is in consultation with the family, hopefully fardu kifayah can be implemented in the hospital,” said SAG.
However, information received by Serambinews.com from fragmented sources, the family still wants the body to be taken home and fardu kifayah at the residence.
SAG later explained, the bodies of victims of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) were very infectious (causing infections / transmitted).
Every drop of the corpse contains millions of corona viruses that can infect others.
Therefore, the obligatory kifayah of the corpse should be performed by the ustaz of the hospital to protect the family of the corpse and the surrounding community.
