The final approval of Pfizer’s Covid vaccine will take place on 10 December: the company has applied for authorization for emergency use
The final approval of the Covid vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech. The request arrived yesterday and is the first ever received by FDA.
The Food and Drug Administraton announced that it had scheduled an advisory committee meeting to discuss the companies’ request Pfizer e BioNTech for the authorization of the emergency use of the vaccine against Covid-19.

Anti-Covid vaccine, the FDA commissioner speaks
Stephen Hahn, commissioner of the FDA, has explained: “The Food and Drug Administation recognizes that transparency and dialogue are essential for the public to have confidence in vaccines for Covid-19. I want to assure Americans that the FDA process and data evaluation for a potential Covid-19 vaccine will be open and as transparent as possible. The FDA has been preparing for the review of requests for Covid-19 vaccines for several months. While we cannot predict how long the review will take, we will review the request as quickly as possible, while continuing to do so comprehensively and scientifically. In this way we will be able to help make available a vaccine that Americans deserve as soon as possible ”.
