Covid-19 Patients Married, No One Family Is Present, Bride and Groom Separated When Covenant Page all

KOMPAS.com – A positive patient of Covid-19 origin Pacitan, East Java, entered into a marriage ceremony, Thursday (07/23/2020).

The Head of Diskominfo Pacitan Rachmad Dwiyanto explained, the Kabul consent procession was carried out by implementing a health protocol in the Wisma Athlete’s courtyard.

“Actually, the program has been designed a long time ago, if people get married, they look for a good day. The good day is this month, the month of Dhul-Hijjah. We are from the group only to facilitate. It’s possible to get married, but the bridegroom must not come out of the guesthouse, only in the courtyard of the Athlete’s House. “So for the consent letter, it must be at Wisma Athlete,” Rachmad said, quoted from Surya, Friday (24/7/2020).

The two brides, including witnesses and chiefs, were separated by a distance of five meters

“The bride, including officials from KUA, keep a distance from the groom about five meters. The consent is held in an open courtyard,” Rachmad said.

The sacred procession was not attended by guests or family members of the bride and groom.

“There are no guests, there are only officers at the guesthouse athlete, guardian, witness, the same KUA officer, about eight people with the bride,” he explained.

In addition to facilitating the venue, the Covid-19 Pacitan Task Force Team also picked up the bride, including preparing clothes for the consent procession, delivery, and a dowry of Rp. 500,000.

The marriage contract procession went smoothly. The atmosphere became touching when the bride and groom must be separated again after the consent process is finished.

Rachmad said the bridegroom was in a healthy condition despite being confirmed positive for Covid-19.

The groom was confirmed positive on July 20, 2020.
