Suara.com – When the whole world is still struggling pandemic Covid-19 who are not yet of age, now there is a recent report related to the case bird flu H10N3 in humans.
According to the Jerusalem Post, a 41-year-old man in eastern China’s Jiangsu province has been confirmed as the first human case to be infected with the strain bird flu H10N3. According to China’s National Health Commission (NHC)
The man, a resident of Zhenjiang city, was hospitalized on April 28 after developing a fever and other symptoms, the NHC said in a statement.
He was diagnosed with the H10N3 bird flu virus on May 28, he said, but gave no details on how the man became infected with the virus.

H10N3 is a low, or relatively less severe, pathogenic virus strain in poultry and the risk of its spread on a large scale is very low, NHC added.
The man is stable and ready to be discharged from the hospital. Medical observations of his close contacts found no other cases.
Many different strains of bird flu are present in China and some infect people sporadically, usually those who work with poultry. There have been no significant numbers of bird flu infections in humans since the H7N9 strain killed about 300 people during 2016-2017.
No other cases of H10N3 infection in humans have been previously reported globally, the NHC said.
