Five employees of the Shaker restaurant-bar in Gatineau in the Outaouais region have been affected by COVID-19, the establishment announced on its Facebook page on Sunday.
However, none of them had direct contact with customers.
Le Shaker de Gatineau clarified that these five employees have not been at work since last Monday and that they are in isolation for ten days.
“In addition, all employees who have been in direct contact with them have also been placed in administrative segregation for a period of 10 days,” added the Promenades Gatineau establishment on Facebook.
This restaurant-bar on boulevard Mahoney will however remain open thanks to an external team.
“We take all the measures required by the government very seriously and we are currently in close collaboration with public health,” said the Shaker of Gatineau.
