COVID-19: Ontario records record for new cases | COVID-19 | News | The right

Aith 1,859 new infections, the province broke its record of 1,855 cases set in the November 27 report. Ontario has registered more than 125,000 new cases so far.

Ontario also records 20 more deaths, bringing the death toll to 3,757.

The number of active cases also continues to increase in Ontario, even crossing the 15,000 active case mark, another record.

In the past 24 hours, 1,624 Ontarians have recovered from the virus.

The province sets another record, this time for COVID-19 testing. Just over 59,000 tests have been conducted since 24 Friday.
