It is a dark day for Waterloo region and Ontario.
Waterloo Regional Police have confirmed responding to a call to denounce an illegal assembly at 1373 Lobsinger Line in Waterloo on Sunday December 27. Police say they observed a congregation that exceeded the number of people allowed.
During the confinement in force, the maximum allowed is 10 people.
But Trinity Bible Chapel Church Leaders Say In Statement Police Attended Each Elder’s Home [samedi] evening around 8 p.m. and gave each a summons to court
.
Although we know of agents within the [service de police local] who personally disagree with these accusations, it seems that [la police locale] try to make us an example. For years we have taught our children to respect the police, and now our children and grandchildren are witnessing their fathers and grandfathers being accused by the police for worshiping Christ in our church.
Our high school teachers, parents and grandparents have warned us about governments acting this way.
Mr. Reaume asserts that Jesus Christ is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and therefore we must honor and obey him more than all earthly governments.
.
Our government is destroying our society to prevent the spread of a virus causing a fraction of a fraction of the death rate. It’s bad.
Our Savior shed his blood for the Church and therefore to judge the Church “nonessential” is to regard the blood of Christ as nonessential, which is a public act of blasphemy.
, can we read in the press release.
Meanwhile, people continue to gather at the church, which held two Sunday church services.
