The health situation continues to improve in the schools of the Aix-Marseille Academy, which brings together the schools, colleges and high schools of Bouches-du-Rhône, of Vaucluse, Alpes de Haute Provence and High mountains.
According to the weekly point set at Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 1 p.m., alone 15 classes were closed due to cases of Covid-19 in the four departments. All schools have remained open this week.
0.02% positive tests
Thirteen of the closed classes are located in eight schools, four colleges and one high school in Bouches-du-Rhône. The other two concern a school in Vaucluse and a college in Alpes-De-Haute-Provence.
Of the 556,965 students at the Academy, cases of Covid have been confirmed in only 28 of them. Of the 59,805 staff members, only two cases were reported.
Between Tuesday, June 8 to Monday, June 14, 2021, 7,928 Covid tests were offered to students and staff and 3,781 tests were carried out. 0.02% were found to be positive.
