It has to do with completing the primary vaccination schedule ”.
Then he continued: “What is coming now is the reinforcement of the vaccination campaign and it is intended for people over 70, with any vaccination scheme, as long as 6 months have passed after completing the scheme, that is, after the second dose. ”.
The minister pointed out that the vaccine to be used in this booster is AstraZeneca.
To access this third dose, they must register on the Government website: www.mendoza.gov.ar/vacunacion-covid-19. Once the process is finished, they must keep the receipt with the ticket number that is issued and wait for the corresponding email and / or sms, where the date, time and place will be indicated.
In this way, if the assigned shift is respected, crowds and inconveniences in the vaccination centers are avoided and the operation can continue in an orderly manner.
The official added: “This dose of boosters will also be available to health personnel. In this case, the vaccines will be delivered to the different hospitals, public and private, where the vaccine will be distributed. We do this because it is the group that was vaccinated first and they are more exposed to the disease ”.
Finally, he assured that “people who are in long stay, such as nursing homes” will be vaccinated.
