The epidemic of Covid-19 continues to decline sharply in Maine-et-Loire. The incidence rate now stands at 33.6 per 100,000 inhabitants (18.5 in those over 65 years old), or 13 points less compared to Friday, June 11. This rate falls to 26 per 100,000 inhabitants in the agglomeration ofAngers and 18 in the agglomeration of Choletais.
The positivity rate also fell to 1.5%, its lowest level in early August 2020.
In hospitals, no deaths are to be deplored over the past four days. The number of hospitalized patients is declining. Just like that of people treated in intensive care units.
To date, half of the inhabitants of Maine-et-Loire have received a first dose of vaccine.
