Covid-19/Morocco: 74 active cases nationwide, 2 admitted to REA | Hespress French

In 24 hours, 2,738 PCR tests were carried out in Morocco for a national total of 12,925,120 tests carried out since the start of the pandemic. Thus, the active cases under treatment nationwide stand at 74 cases.

In its epidemiological report for this Saturday, January 28, the Ministry of Health reports 2 cases admitted to intensive care.

In addition, Morocco has not recorded any deaths due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The national total of deaths since the start of the pandemic therefore remains stable at 16,296, for a fatality rate of 1.28%.

Morocco has also recorded 17 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,255,852 remissions, for a recovery rate of 98.71%.

In addition, and as indicated by Hespress’ monitoring and tracking platform, covid.hespress.com/frthe Kingdom has recorded in the past 24 hours, 5 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, bringing the national total of confirmed contaminations to 1,272,222.

On the vaccination side, 24,919,745 people have received a first dose of vaccine since the launch of the campaign, 23,420,948 having received the second dose, 6,875,039 the third dose and 59,770 the fourth, still indicates the department of Khalid Ait Taleb.

The Ministry of Health thus invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
