Covid-19: Minsa and private company join forces to promote vaccination | News

The Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos announced an alliance between the Ministry of Health (Minsa) and the private company to strengthen vaccination against covid-19, within the framework of the strategy “Let’s go to your meeting, Get vaccinated now!” incentives offered by telephone companies and shopping centers.

The four most important telephone companies in the country such as Telefónica, Claro, Bitel and Entel and the Association of Shopping Centers of Peru (ACCEP) which brings together 87 malls nationwide, joined the campaign, reported the Minister of Health, at the launch, called “We are going to meet you with private companies.”

In the Megaplaza located in the district of Independencia, Cevallos pointed out that the fight against covid-19, and the commitment to the vaccination process requires the efforts of the public and private sectors, civil society and the population in general. –

“The Minsa has managed to combine efforts with business groups looking to increase the number of people with the two full doses. It is a great satisfaction that companies of great sensitivity are joining this fight, “said the minister.

Promotion and discounts

Thanks to this initiative, as of September 28, they will be able to access numerous discounts and promotions, the laggards who complete the two doses of their vaccination against covid-19, presenting their vaccination card that certifies the inoculation of the two doses of any of the vaccines, and their ID.

Carlos Neuhaus, Executive President of ACCEP, added that thanks to this alliance, itinerant vaccination points will be installed, as part of the strategy “We are going to meet you. Get vaccinated now! ”.

Today in Megaplaza vaccination points were operational that plan to immunize approximately 500 people, among clients of the shopping center and collaborators of the tenant companies.

Too will raffle consumer vouchers for 1,000 soles per day, during the month of October, in the malls that groups the association.

For their part, the representatives of the telephone companies will offer different incentives such as discounts for plans, gigs to surf the internet and equipment to the laggards with a second dose and for those who receive a second dose from today.

The Minister of Health called on other companies to join in order to get more Peruvians to complete their second dose. “The The population hopes that more companies with social sensitivity will join these efforts because alone we cannot face this pandemic. This example must be followed throughout the country, “said the minister.

To date, Peru already has 10 million 253,791 fully protected people, which represents 37% of the target population.
