Switzerland detects a possible omicron case and imposes quarantines on 19 countries

Swiss health authorities reported a possible case of the omicron variant, the first detected in the country, and have raised to 19 the nations and territories whose travelers will have to quarantine when entering the Swiss country, national television RTS highlighted on Monday . The suspected case is a person who returned from South Africa a week ago, the Federal Office of Public Health said in a short message on its official Twitter account. Albares assures that none of the Spaniards trapped in several countries by the new omicron variant “is going to be stranded”
