A Sevillian pharmacy puts 10,000 antigen tests on sale
A pharmacy in Dos Hermanas (Seville) has put 10,000 antigen tests on sale to detect the coronavirus. The manager of the Los Angeles pharmacy, Jaime Moreno, has commented that the tests have been acquired from a Chinese company through negotiations with distributors: “They have had us three days without sleep until they arrived yesterday -Thursday- and we put them on sale” . The queues at the doors of the establishment have not stopped and there are people who buy up to 80 tests that are sold at 7.90 euros each. In just 24 hours the pharmacy has sold half of the batch to people who have come from different parts of the province. “We have looked for the tests under the stones, making a lot of calls, many of them negative,” said Moreno, who added that the request was intervened in Madrid and did not reach its destination until all permits were obtained. The pharmacy managers have not set a limit of units per person and anticipate that they will sell the tests until stocks run out and, if necessary, they will try to place new orders.
